The Lancaster Art scene is vibrant, with it's numerous galleries, First Fridays and many artists in residence! But where do painters go to paint, share modeling costs, get to know each other, learn from others and have studio space? The Painting, Drawing, and Plein Air Group meetup is a group where artists can paint, draw, use pastels or really any medium of their choosing, in a group studio setting, and also go on plein air or outdoor painting excursions. This is a group for anyone who would like to learn to paint in Watercolor and Sketch in Prospect Park. I will offer instruction and demonstrations for those who would like it. Feel free to join if you already are already experienced and just want to paint/draw with a group. Bring your own materials and feel free to ask for suggestions on buying materials. $15 includes demonstrations/instruction.

This is a group for anyone who has been bitten by the creative bug and enjoys expressing themselves through the arts. Whether your passion is music, writing, or the visual arts you are all welcome to join. I am new to the area and would like to meet and hang out with other like minded individuals. Lets meet up to share our work and possibly create an atmosphere where we get inspired to create new work either individually or cooperatively.
